Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Effective: 18 September 2026

1. Who I am

I am Craig Perry, a sole trader based in Ireland.

Email: contact@profoundideas.com

Postal address: Willsborough Industrial Estate, Priorswood, Dublin 17, D17 AE67, Ireland

2. What you are buying

The Profound Writer is a self-paced online writing course. It consists of video lessons, written materials, prompts, templates, and checklists, hosted on Kajabi.

When you purchase the course, you receive lifetime access to the current version and any future updates I make to it.

There is no subscription, no recurring charge, and no membership. You pay once and access the course for as long as it exists.

3. Price and payment

The course costs $150 USD, charged as a one-time payment at checkout.

I may offer the course at a discounted or promotional price from time to time. A discount offered to one buyer does not entitle any other buyer to the same price, and does not entitle anyone who has already purchased at full price to a partial refund of the difference.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout. I never see or store your card number.

Apple Pay and Google Pay may appear as payment options. These pass your payment through to Stripe.

The price may change in the future for new buyers, but a change in price does not affect anyone who has already purchased.

4. What you get and when

Access is granted immediately after your payment is processed. You will receive an email with your login details and can begin the course straight away.

I may update or add to the course over time. Updates are provided at my discretion and are included in your access at no extra cost. If I make significant changes, I may notify existing customers by email or within the course itself, but I am not obliged to do so for every update.

I do not guarantee that any specific lesson, module, or resource will remain available in its current form indefinitely. I will not remove the course entirely without giving reasonable notice to existing customers.

5. Refund policy

I offer a 90-day refund. If you are not satisfied with the course for any reason, email contact@profoundideas.com within 90 days of your purchase and I will refund you in full.

No conditions. No questions asked.

Refunds are processed through Stripe and returned to the payment method you used at checkout. You will receive back the exact amount you paid, in the currency you paid in, regardless of any exchange rate fluctuations between the date of purchase and the date of refund. Processing times depend on your bank or card provider.

Your 90-day guarantee is more generous than the 14-day statutory cooling-off period under EU distance selling rules. You do not need to waive any statutory right because this guarantee already exceeds it.

6. Your statutory rights

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022 or any other consumer protection law that applies to you.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If the course does not meet these standards, you have the right to a remedy under the Act, which may include a price reduction or a refund.

These statutory rights exist alongside and in addition to my 90-day guarantee.

7. What the course is and is not

The course is for educational purposes only. It teaches writing and audience-building skills based on my own experience and methods.

It is not a guarantee of results. Your outcomes depend on your own effort, consistency, circumstances, and many factors outside my control. I do not promise any specific level of growth, income, subscribers, or audience size.

I am not a financial advisor, a legal advisor, or a licensed professional of any kind. Nothing in the course constitutes professional advice. If you need professional advice, consult an appropriate professional.

8. What you can and cannot do with the course

You may access and use the course for your own personal learning.

You may not copy, redistribute, resell, republish, or share any part of the course — including videos, written materials, prompts, templates, and checklists — with anyone else, whether for free or for payment.

You may not give your login details to anyone else or allow anyone else to access the course through your account.

All intellectual property in the course belongs to me. Purchasing the course gives you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use the materials for your own learning. It does not transfer ownership of any content to you.

9. Account and access

Your account is personal to you. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

If you lose access to your account and cannot recover it yourself, email contact@profoundideas.com and I will update your login details manually to restore your access.

I may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms — for example, by sharing your login or redistributing course content. In such cases, no refund will be issued.

10. My liability to you

I will do my best to keep the course available and the platform running. However, I cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Kajabi, which hosts the course, may occasionally have downtime for maintenance or technical issues.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, my total liability to you in connection with the course is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Irish law.

11. Complaints

If you have a complaint about the course or your purchase, email contact@profoundideas.com. I will respond within 14 days.

If we cannot resolve the matter between us, you may contact the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (CCPC):

CCPC, Bloom House, Railway Street, Dublin 1, D01 C576 Website: www.ccpc.ie

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection provisions that may apply in your country of residence.

13. Changes to these terms

I may update these terms from time to time. Two dates appear at the top: the date the wording was last changed, and the date that version takes effect.

If I make a significant change that affects existing customers, I will provide notice by email before it takes effect. Changes do not apply retroactively to purchases already made under earlier terms.

14. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with my Privacy Policy, which is available on my site. By purchasing the course, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read that policy.
